1031 Exchanges and the New York City Real Estate Market

On November 9th, PABC hosted a meeting with Scott Offerman, founder of 1031 Financial, who spoke on “1031 Exchanges and the New York City Real Estate Market”

Since 2002, Scott Offerman has specialized in tax deferral strategies with high net worth individuals. In 2013 Mr. Offerman founded 1031 Financial to focus solely on investors’ needs in the real estate space.  He and his team help educate, source, and provide investment options specifically for individuals selling investment property who want to defer capital gains.

Mr. Offerman provides investment options for individuals selling investment property, and want to avoid Capital Gains. So instead of the seller paying the capital gains or finding their own replacement property he represents income producing properties that have incremental interests for sale that qualify for 1031 exchanges.
