On April 2nd, 2025, the Polish American Business Club co-hosted an event, “Navigating U.S. Business Immigration: From Current Visas to the Potential Gold Card Visa.” Held at the prestigious Rockefeller Center in New York City, with a concurrent online stream, the event offered attendees worldwide the chance to join in and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in U.S. immigration policies.
Our presenter, Margaret A. Zawadzka, Principal, Attorney, and Counselor at Law at mazlegal, led participants on a comprehensive journey through the complexities of U.S. business visas, green cards, and relevant immigration processes for business owners and entrepreneurs. Additionally, Margaret addressed pressing concerns about international travel safety, a topic of utmost importance to the global business community today.
A highlight of the event was the inspiring story of Mr. Armel Joly, owner of the renowned French restaurant O’Cabanon in Manhattan. Armel recounted how professional guidance from Margaret helped him navigate the intricate immigration process, ultimately enabling him to successfully establish his business in the U.S. by selecting the right immigration path and ensuring proper documentation.
Organized in collaboration with the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC), the event was specifically designed for Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) and Polish business owners, although we were delighted to welcome attendees from around the world, broadening the discussion to encompass international aspects of U.S. immigration.
The virtual format allowed individuals from outside the U.S. to participate in the discussion, gaining valuable insights into the evolving landscape of U.S. immigration policies and ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to stay informed on this critical topic.
We extend our gratitude to mazlegal for providing an exceptional venue at the iconic Rockefeller Center, offering breathtaking views of the city. We also appreciate O’Cabanon’s generosity in treating us to a delectable selection of French delicacies, which contributed to the event’s overall success.
We thank all our guests for attending and contributing to the rich discussions, which provided an invaluable opportunity to connect, learn, and network. We look forward to hosting more events in the future, fostering a community of business leaders and entrepreneurs who can share knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
